Dr. Paul Lang was born and raised in New Jersey. Following a sports related injury in high school he experience reoccurring episodes of severe low back pain – not a typical concern for a 16 year old. Multiple examinations from orthopedists and neurologist failed to pinpoint a cause beyond “growing pains”. He consulted a chiropractor, mistakenly thinking that a chiropractor was an orthopedist who specialized in back pain. He soon discovered that chiropractic was a separate branch of health care all together – and best of all, he discovered that chiropractic helped his back pain immensely. He found his career. He attended Rutgers College and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Lang practiced for almost 40 years in New Jersey, developing a multigenerational family practice caring for patients ranging from just a few days old up to 98 years old.
A few years ago Dr. Lang moved to Minnesota. Why Minnesota? I’m sure you can think of several good reasons to leave New Jersey for Minnesota, but his underlying motivation was a lovely Minnesota woman. She kindly agreed to marry him — with the proviso that she would not live in New Jersey.
After settling into their new home in Minnesota, Dr. Lang found he missed the fun and the challenges of his chiropractic practice, so he obtained his Minnesota license and opened Connections Chiropractic in Deephaven.
During his time off, Dr. Paul enjoys exploring his new home state as well as international travel, scuba diving, sporting clay shooting and playing with his young grandchildren.
